#AroostookThing of the week: The
Chewonki Live Owl Presentation in Presque Isle.
Sometimes, some pretty cool outdoors-y
things don’t take place outdoors.
Take,
for instance, the Chewonki Live Owl Presentation this Saturday at the Presque
Isle Library.
It’s
pretty rare to catch a glimpse of a real, live owl in its’ natural habitat,
right? Can you imagine actually getting up close to one?
Thanks
to the Chewonki Foundation and the Mark & Emily Turner Memorial Library,
you can See live owls up close and hear a presentation this Saturday, October
22 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the library, located at 39 Second St.
This
program is open to everyone, so bring your cameras and prepare for a really fun
hour-long learning experience.
