Adult Take It Outside Series Deboullie Day Hike trip from Caribou to Deboullie Public Reserved Land, just south of St. Francis. Getting outdoors is just part of who I am. But that was not always the case. A couple of watershed moments in my life include reading Donn Fendler’s story “Lost on A Mountain in Maine” when I was a boy and taking my first trip to Deboullie as a young man. One was important for what it sparked. The other, for what it reinforced. To me, the ski swaps are the harbinger of all things good. In my world, that means snow, and of course, skiing. Among all the amazing goods you can find at ski swaps, don’t forget that they also usually provide a chance to pick up your season passes to your local ski hill.
